We are a vibrancy grant recipient!

You may have recently seen the press release from the City of Fishers announcing vibrancy grant recipients. We are excited to let you know Sand Creek Farms was a grant recipient this year!

We’re very excited about this grant, and we are currently working to finalize details with vendors to begin work.

The grant money will be used in the following ways:

  1. Sidewalk repair – As a board, we recognize that a lot of the neighborhood has uneven and damaged sidewalks. We have made the decision to replace those areas that are not safe. We are working to finalize those locations and will share that information when it’s available.
  2. Electrical outlets at the entryway – We are adding additional outlets to the entryway so that we can hang holiday lights.
  3. New flags – The flags we purchased last year were damaged by the trees. We’ll be putting up new, higher quality and more durable flags.

These ideas came from conversations with neighbors and our board meetings. We all desire to have a safe and inviting neighborhood. This grant allows us to do much larger projects than we initially considered, and we are excited to take advantage of the 80%-20% match it offers.

Additionally, if you have been considering removing any pear trees or curb trees, now would be a great time to do that before the sidewalk repairs. We encourage you to take advantage of the Cost Share 50% matching grant available through the Hamilton County Soil & Water department to homeowners for removal of pear trees.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Community Meeting

Greetings, Sand Creek Farms community members. The Home Owners Association (HOA) will be meeting on Wednesday, November 8th, from 8 to 9 p.m. at the community building located by the splash park at Billericay Park. During the community meeting, we will discuss our budget, board projects, the 2024 board member election process, and future capital projects such as fixing our ponds, sidewalks, and landscaping. The community will have time to ask questions and provide their suggestions. We hope to see every community member attend as they are able.

Pool Time

Sand Creek Farms residents again have the opportunity to purchase a pool pass to Limestone Springs.

Cost: $225 for season (same as last year) or $325 for annual clubhouse/pool access.

If the previous pool card is lost, there is a $50 replacement fee.

Payment is required to be made in the form of a money order/check made payable to Limestone Springs HOA. Be sure to display “seasonal pass or annual pass” on the memo line.
